Deck Lounger Patrol

Sabbia came to us with the pretty French name "Sabbia" which is french for "Color of Sand." She was a senior golden retriever in her late stages of life, only wanting peace, love and comfort in her remaining years.

She wasn't strong enough to play with the other dogs, but she seemed to be a bit of a loner anyway, happy just to sit and watch the world go by. She was a rather serious dog, probably because of her age and failing health.

Her stay ended up being very short with us as her health deteriorated very quickly after she arrived, especially her eyesight.

She lived a happy, full life before going over the Rainbow Bridge at age 16.
